In order to satisfy your hiring needs through Greenheart Exchange, you must meet the following criteria.

  • Guarantee that your workplace is safe and offers positions that are seasonal or temporary in nature.
  • Provide your participants with an average of 32 hours or more per week.
  • Be able to provide or assist your participants in identifying suitable, affordable housing.
  • Facilitate transportation or direct your participants on how to use local transportation.
  • Have accessible staff onsite to manage your participants.
  • Provide opportunities for your participants to engage in cultural activities and interact with Americans in the workplace and in the community.
  • Be available to receive updates from Greenheart Exchange, stay informed on Department of State regulations, and respond to Greenheart Exchange emails or phone calls.
  • Be able to provide requested documentation to meet Greenheart Exchange requirements and Department of State regulations.
  • Notify Greenheart Exchange promptly when your participants arrive at the work site and begin their programs; when there are any changes or deviations in the job placements during your participants’ programs; when your participants are not meeting the requirements of the job placements; or when your participants leave their position ahead of their planned departure.
  • Contact Greenheart Exchange immediately in the event of any emergency involving one of your participants or any situation that impacts their welfare.
