Ayae Mori, a CCI exchange student, wasted no time when it came to organizing relief efforts for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan. That’s because Ayae is from Japan. She instantly felt a need to help her people and to rally her American classmates to do something for Japan. Ayae took to the high school airwaves urging her classmates to donate, she put up posters, and began collecting money.  She plans to collect donations from every class at her high school, Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, California. Ayae is also planning a choir concert benefit with the help of her choir teacher for this May.

We are inspired by Ayae’s positive spirit and call to action!
