Who is Eligible?

  • H2B participants who are currently working in the US under a valid H2B visa may be eligible for an H2B extension.
  • H2B extension candidates must not have been in the US under the H2B visa for more than three years without returning home.

What Do I Do Next?

Please fill out the H2B Extension Request Form. If you are an eligible candidate than a CCI representative will contact you.

Documents Required

Once your inquiry is accepted, CCI will need copies of the following documents in order to process your H2B extension:

  1. Visa
  2. Stamped I-94
  3. Passport
  4. Social Security card
  5. Receipts of all extensions
  6. Two most current pay stubs
  7. Resume/CV
  8. Reference Letter
  9. Photo(s)

CCI must receive all of the above documents before it can begin the extension process. If you (the applicant) fail to provide any of the above documents, the entire extension process and visa approval will be delayed. CCI may drop you from the petition if you do not provide all of the necessary paperwork by the assigned deadline date.

Once the documents are secured by CCI, processing time is generally 4-8 weeks.
