Multinational Group Homestay Program
CCI’s Multinational Programs for international students ages 13-17* are organized during the summer months of July and August. Multinational programs offer students and host families the unique opportunity to know people of several cultures while using English as the common language for communication. Group sizes generally range from 12 to 25 participants.
*Hawaii program is for students aged 14 – 19.
Program includes:
- Room and board with volunteer American host family
- 12 hours of English language and American culture weekly
- 2 half day activities weekly, including entrance fees
- One full day excursion per week
- One Greenheart volunteer activity
- Welcome and farewell parties
- Airport transfer to/ from nearest airport
- Accident and medical insurance
- Services of a CCI local coordinator
- Invitation letter for the visa (if required)
Requirements:
- Be between the ages of 13 and 17 (For Hawaii Program, age range is 14 – 19)
- Possess intermediate English skills (minimum of 2 years of study)
- Display a genuine interest in the English language and American culture
- Be willing to adapt to life as a member of an American host family
- Agree to accept the family assigned by CCI
- Sign and abide by the CCI Code of Conduct on the application form
