We will match you with a student who shares your family’s lifestyle and common interests. The students below will be attending school for the 2012-13 school year and will be arriving to the USA in late summer, but should be placed with a host family now. Pilar from Spain
 Pilar is a 14 year old girl from Spain who loves horseback riding. She rides twice per week but also enjoys cleaning and caring for the horses. Pilar also likes to spend time with her family –her parents, sister and puppy named Suco. One day Pilar hopes to be a doctor and find cures for diseases. She is looking forward to meeting her American host family and learning about America.

Isabel from the Netherlands
 Isabel, a 16 year old young lady from the Netherlands, is an active field hockey player and very sporty in general. She likes being active, is very social and will do best in an environment that offers many possibilities for social interaction. Isabel also enjoys playing the piano and takes lessons weekly. She’s excited to live in the US and learn about American culture.

Anna from Switzerland
 Anna is a 16 year old young girl and very talented for her age. She has a lot of hobbies. She does dancing (hip hop, jazz, ballet) and is also a very good drummer. She fancies all kind of music styles and thinks that with music she can express herself best. Alekasndra from Poland
 Aleksandra is very ambitious: she would like to study medicine abroad in the future and studies hard in her current school. She is very active in sports such as skiing, playing tennis, and snowboarding. She has been playing piano for 8 years and has been acting at school for a few months. Aleksandra also enjoys going to school and reads books for pleasure. Aleksandra is honest, open, talkative, extrovert, happy and ambitious. She’s excited to meet her American host family and make a lot of new friends.

Joanna from Poland
Joanna, a 15 year old girl from Poland, likes art, plays piano and loves to dance and takes ballroom dance classes for fun. She is a regular, sociable teenager who likes to hang out, swim, go to the cinema and meet new people. She makes friends easily and is an open person. She loves foreign languages: speaks good English and intermediate Spanish. In the US she would like to become more independent and responsible.
