How Do I Become a Host Family?

After you submit an inquiry form, you’ll receive login information to our online database, where you will access the application, which consists of:
- Answering questions about your family's lifestyle
- Uploading photos of your home
- Submitting background checks for all members of the household
A CCI Local Coordinator will visit your house to meet all members of your family to better get to know you. She/he will have a few more questions for you and will begin to gather your preferences for what type of student you would like to host. For example, would you like a boy or a girl? Do you have a preference for a specific country, region, or language, etc.? Meet some of our students now!
Once your application has been approved, you can work with your CCI Local Coordinator to select a wonderful student who shares your family’s lifestyle and interests.
Students arrive at various times between August and early September. Your CCI Local Coordinator will conduct a Host Family Orientation before your student arrives.
