No. Local Coordinators are independent contractors and it is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours with payment based on the number of students that you place. Many of our LCs hold other part-time or even with full time jobs.
Yes! We place exchange students in all 50 states, so we have Local Coordinators across the nation. You can be Local Coordinator in your own community.
As an independent contractor, you earn stipends. You can earn up to $1,000 for each exchange student that you place with a host family and monitor throughout the year. There are multiple opportunities to earn bonuses, prizes, and additional stipends, which vary.
Local Coordinator applicants must be at least 26 years of age.
