Experience Thai culture as a native. Teach abroad in Thailand!

Live as a local resident in the "Land of Smiles" for a semester or a year. Greenheart Travel is currently placing native English speakers in TEFL teaching positions all around beautiful Thailand! Teachers enjoy rent free accommodations and a salary that is enough to cover both their living expenses in Thailand, plus extra for travel and sightseeing during time off or after the program. If you teach for a full academic year (11 months) at the same institution, you'll also receive reimbursement for your plane ticket home.

Placements

Teaching placements are available in urban and rural locations throughout Thailand. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences for a particular location and/or level, but availability of placements depends on the need in Thai schools at the time you apply. More and more Thai schools are giving preference to teachers with previous teaching experience, so if you've taught before you will most likely be placed more quickly and easily than if you have no prior teaching experience.

While we rarely have problems placing our teachers, being accepted to the program does not guarantee a job placement. Final hiring decisions are made by the Thai schools.

Orientation

  • Mandatory week-long orientation in Bangkok
  • Airport pickup is included
  • Includes:
    • Airport pickup and transportation to orientation venue
    • Lodging
    • Meals
    • Teacher training
    • Thai language and culture
