Taste
of American High School Program
CCI's Taste of American High School program offers international students ages 13-17 a chance to experience
the lifestyle of a typical American teenager.
Living with an American host family while auditing
regular high school classes is an excellent way for
students to improve their English and learn about
American culture. The program can be arranged so that
students first travel to New York or Chicago for a
short visit, then travel on to their homestay destination
for a two week high school visitation program.
Programs are organized during the fall and spring
when American schools are in session. Group sizes
range from 10 to 15 participants plus one escort.
Program Includes
City Stay Option:
- 3 nights hotel accommodation in New York or Chicago
- Airport transfers
Homestay
& School Visitation:
- Room and board with volunteer American host family
- High school visitation program (usually two to
four days per week)
