Kimberly Berls, Director of Ecommerce - www.greenheartshop.org Kimberly’s enthusiasm for cultural education began in high school when she participated in exchange programs to Mexico and Costa Rica. After studying in Spain during university, Kimberly still wasn’t keen on settling down in the US. She worked in Czech Republic, Greece, England, and then landed in Japan, where she worked for more than two years at Pfizer as a cross-cultural communications trainer. As a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Argentina, Kimberly founded Project Patagonia, now a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides computer centers and other educational assistance for disadvantaged, rural schools in Patagonia. She has also worked at Cooperative for Education in Guatemala, helping to implement a new “culture of reading” initiative in Guatemalan elementary schools. She is fluent in Spanish, and has a basic understanding of Japanese. Kimberly manages the Greenheart Shop’s fair trade ecommerce efforts. When she’s not lost in the Patagonian outback dodging sheep and changing flat tires while trying to deliver computers, Kimberly can be found exploring Chicago’s music scene, attempting to cook, or watching currency exchange charts fall up and down.

Andrea Dennis, CCI Greenheart Outreach Director Andrea Dennis is not too shy about promoting all things Greenheart, because she lives her work inside and outside the office digs. She joined CCI in 2006 fresh out of college and has learned and evolved in the CCI family ever since. In 2007, Andrea transitioned from the Academic Year Program and the cultural exchange side of life, to the new endeavor, Greenheart. From the onset of Greenheart's inclusion into CCI and development in the U.S., Andrea has been there. She works closely with President and Founder Emanuel Kuntzelman on his many projects hoping to transform the world into a better place for us all. This includes the opening and continued work with fair trade through the Greenheart Shop; environmental programs within CCI; Greenheart media; and some other Greenheart-themed projects here and there. Aside from shamelessly promoting Greenheart to anyone who will listen, Andrea likes to limbo, try strange concoctions in the kitchen, visit her grandmas in Ohio and sway to the music. |
