Meet the General CCI Staff

Claudia Curran

Special Projects Director

Involved in a myriad of ever-changing special projects, keeps life fun and exciting for Claudia. Present duties include conference coordinator, office rehab and move coordinator, building management, and tracking incentive points for the Academic Year Program department. Starting in St. Charles in CCI's first office over 13 years ago, Claudia has recently made the move to the National Office in Chicago. Having participated in student exchange in high school and college, she is now encouraging her children to do the same.

Katherine Bissell Cordova

Greenheart Development Manager

As CCI’s Greenheart Development Manager, Katherine brings a diverse background in social causes and environmental enterprises. For eighteen years, she worked for immigrant, worker and human rights in Chicago and in Guatemala. In Honduras, Katherine helped establish a field office for the Green Wood Alliance, an organization that promotes alternative green employment in forest-based communities. With her vast experience, Katherine is ready to pioneer the path of the Greenheart challenge.

Andrea Dennis

Projects Manager

Andrea is delighted to be a member of the CCI family. Though she originally comes from a small town in Ohio, she is no stranger to cultural exchange. At an early age, her parents instilled in her the significance of travel and scholarship. Inspired by her family's exchange students, overseas trips and her studies, Andrea pursued these passions by majoring in International Relations at Loyola University Chicago. Now at CCI as Projects Manager, Andrea assists President Emanuel Kuntzelman with various creative endeavors designed to diversify CCI. She is truly grateful to be working with the intelligent and inspiring people at CCI.

Joanna Flagler

International Director

After working with the local community on a medical clinic in Costa Rica, Joanna was compelled to turn her experience into a career. She left her publishing job in New York City and received a Master's in International Education from the School for International Training. Joanna facilitated exchange programs for students and professionals from Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Japan. She has studied in Mexico, England and Southern Africa, and is conversant in Spanish. As International Director, Joanna develops new business relationships with partners abroad, maintains CCI's website and newsletter, and collaborates with all departments on developing program materials.

Jude Rodriguez

Office Manager

Jude joined CCI in the fall of 2006 after working 18 years in the travel agency business. As Office Manager, Jude keeps CCI offices running smoothly and safely. Jude is also the "voice of CCI", as she answers the phones at CCI's National Office and greets all visitors. A native of Chicago, Jude loves exploring all the city has to offer.
