Greenheart Club for CCI Academic Year High School Students
If you're a currently enrolled* CCI Academic Year High School exchange student, this is a great opportunity for you! The Greenheart Club allows you to take your exchange experience a step further by getting involved in the volunteer movement in the United States. You can be a part of the Greenheart Club by volunteering for an environmental or social organization. This is a great way to meet people and have fun. The Greenheart Club will help you find volunteer opportunities and recognize you for giving back to your community.
Join the Greenheart Club**
Sign up by logging in to your CCI Online account. If you are having trouble joining the club or logging your hours read this guide to help answer your questions: How to log your volunteer hours.
When you log your volunteer hours, the Greenheart Club recognizes you with:
- 5+ hours: Greenheart Certificate
- 15+ hours: Greenheart Music CD
- 45+ hours: Greenheart Club t-shirt
- 100+ hours: President’s Award, feature in blog and CCI newsletter
- Top 4 Volunteers: Eco-Weekend trip in Chicago+
- Most hours: $500 grant to do a Greenheart project in home country++

Take a trip with us! If you're a currently enrolled CCI Academic Year High School exchange student, you are elgible to attend one of our two Greenheart trips a fall break trip to Estes Park, CO and a spring break adventure to Florida.
- Spring Break - Florida Everglades: Join us for a week-long adventure in south Florida. We will explore the unique habitat of the Everglades, spend a day in Miami, volunteer in two national parks, and much more. This is a great opportunity to explore a new region and meet other exchange students like yourself!
- Colorado: This trip is closed. Visit the splendor of the American West on your hiking and nature filled 4-day trip to Estes Park, Colorado. Be prepared for hiking, yoga, ropes courses, learning about the eco-system and being with other exchange students.
