Green Employers

For those of you who have thought about becoming more environmentally friendly in your workplace and more involved in your community, now's the time to start!! CCI is not only devoted to promoting cultural connections, but is also dedicated to improving our environment and local communities!

We have been developing our environmental program "Greenheart" over the past few years, and are anxious to finally involve our employers in our venture to better the world, one community at a time! This involves YOU!

Student recruitment is based on a great deal of criteria. We have started to specifically recruit international students who want to get involved in improving their immediate and global environment.

If you don't already practice socially or environmentally-conscious methods at your business, now is the perfect time to start! Some ideas that are a great way to begin are:

• Recycling program (paper, plastic, glass, aluminum cans, cardboard and grease)
• Contact local community center for volunteer opportunities
• Buy in bulk, not individually wrapped items
• Donate all leftover food to a local food bank
• Use cleaning products that do not introduce toxins into the air or water
• Take part in charity events & fundraisers as a business event, or sponsor

How can CCI students help?

CCI has a special program option for Greenheart students to get involved. Our students coming to work in the U.S. want to connect with their American community - this is a great way for them to be innovative and establish a program that promotes efficiency, conservation, and inspiration.

Greenheart is an opportunity to improve your business and local environment. We encourage you to utilize our eager students' enthusiasm and watch your community flourish!
