Wake Up and Smell the I-9’s

(Seasonal Hiring, J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs) Permanent link

You all know it – the I-9 form. This form is used by employers to verify their employee’s identities and establish that they’re eligible to accept employment in the U.S. Unfortunately; some employers try to pull one over or simply make careless errors when filling these out, which could and will cost you some hefty fines, especially this year. Fall Into Fair Trade at the Greenheart Shop …

It sure feels like Fall in Chicago, with the leaves changing colors and the temperature dropping.  Time to dig out the warm clothes, hats, scarves and cozy blankets. It’s a great time to reconnect with family and friends, share a meal or watch a football game, get in the spirit of the season and ready for the holidays that are yet to come …  I’ve been lucky to come across some good TV over the past few weeks, courtesy of PBS, and if you have a chance, try to catch the Ken Burns documentary series “The History of the National Parks”, or the “Origin of Craft in America”.  Both are worth the time, and can contribute to some thought provoking conversation. like Dark Chocolate/Raspberry (with real fruit!) and Chocolate Toffee. Along the way, they spotted our very own Emanuel Kuntzelman, the President and Founder of CCI & Greenheart. Read more.
