Volunteer Abroad (18+)
Check out our Ecuador photos on Facebook!!
Volunteering in Ecuador is an unmatched opportunity to get to know the country and its people on a personal level and work side by side with Ecuadorians on locally designed and driven projects.
Location
Placements are made throughout Ecuador in national parks, the capital city Quito, the Amazon jungle, the Ecuadorian highlands, and the Galapagos Islands.*
* There is a slightly higher fee for accommodation in the Galapagos.
Housing
Accommodation is with caring, thoroughly screened host families, who provide room and full board (three meals daily).
Orientation
You will be met at the airport and will receive a personal orientation within the first few days of your arrival. A staff member in Ecuador will be available to you throughout your program.
Spanish Language Classes
Volunteers may choose to take Spanish language classes in Quito before their volunteer project. Volunteers will receive four hours of private instruction per day and stay with a host family in Quito. Please contact CCI for details, including addtional fees and requirements.
