Homestay in the United Kingdom
A homestay program is
a wonderful opportunity to experience all the United
Kingdom has to offer. The objective of the program is for participants to learn about the culture and daily life of the host country through their host family, whether it be on family outings, get-togethers or just hanging out at home.
Participants will also have the opportunity to independently explore their local communities. Although many families are able to accompany participants to see local attractions, it should not be expected.
Locations
Host family placements can occur
throughout Great Britain, in either England, Scotland
or Wales. Although participant preferences are taken
into account wherever possible, requests are not guaranteed.*
Accommodation and Meals
Participants are placed with carefully screened host famlies, and full board is included (3 meals per day). Host families come in all shapes and sizes and are eager to greet and welcome you into their home.
Requirements
The minimum age requirement for homestay programs
in United Kingdom is 16+.
