CCI and Greenheart Travel are excited to announce the 2010 Photo and Video Contest!
Countdown to July 15, 2010 starts now! NEW DEADLINE! SEPTEMBER 1, 2010!

Eligibility Requirements:
Submissions may only be entered by CCI and Greenheart Travel participants and consituents (i.e. host families, area representatives, employers). Your photo and/or video should be emblematic of your CCI or Greenheart Travel cultural exchange program.
Contest Guidelines:
Photos must be saved as JPGs.
Please write a brief description of the photo or video in the Comments section, and please include the location of where the photo or video was taken.
If you are creating a video, please be sure to check that there are no
copyright issues with the music or imagery you are selecting!
Photos and/or videos should demonstrate any aspect of CCI/Greenheart Travel program that you were able to capture on film.
Submissions must be ORIGINAL and captured by you!
By submitting your photo or video you are authorizing CCI/Greenheart Travel to use your media for future promotional use

SEPTEMBER 1, 2010; winners to be announced by September 8, 2010.

Additional Tips for Work Programs Submissions
Tell us about your work experience via photos and video! Not sure how to get started or what to focus your video on? Here are some tips to help you:
Housing: Show us where you live (ex: typical student housing)
English proficiency: Has your English improved while on the program? What have you learned while on the program in the U.S. that will improve your life? Tell us about it!
Work vocabulary: What new words did you learn while on the job? Document what they are and your definition of them.
Getting settled in your host community: Did you have to purchase a car? Buy a bike? How did you do this?
BONUS FOR WORK PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS:
As a member of WYSE Work Abroad, CCI and Greenheart Travel encourages you to showcase your creative talents by joining WYSE Work Abroad’s “Expand Your Horizons” Video Contest. Submit a 2-3 minute video about your work abroad, volunteer, work and travel, or internship experience, and you could win US$2,000! The winning submission for Work Programs will be submitted by CCI to the WYSE Work Abroad, "Expand Your Horizons" Video contest. Please visit http://www.wyseworkabroad.org for more information. WYSE "Expand Your Horizons" competition winners will be announced in September 2010!

Your Host Family: show us your host family and host siblings. What makes your host family so unique? What do you like to do with your host family?
Your School: How is your school in America different than your one at home? Do you play a sport or are you in an extracurricular activity?
Your Friends: What do you like to do with your friends outside of school? How do your friends in the U.S. differ from your friends at home?
Your English proficiency: Has your English improved while on the program? What have you learned while on the program in the U.S. that will improve your life?
Greenheart Club: Did you participate in the Greenheart Club? If so, show us what you worked on, what organization did you volunteer with, what did you learn from your experience?

Additional Tips for Greenheart Travel Submissions
- Show us the culture: What makes your country unique? Are there any traditions or festivals special to your location?
- Show us your host family: What makes your host family special? What do you like to do with your host family?
- Show us your project or classroom: Whether you are a volunteer or taking language courses, how can you visually explain the feeling of your program? What are your favorite things about this experience?
- Show us the people: Who are the people around you teaching and inspiring you throughout your trip?
- Show us how you are contributing to your internship,work or teaching program
