Olena - I am the memeber of the Interact Club (Cibola HS), The National Honor Society, and Gifted and Talantet Club.    I have written an essay "Today's Choices Shape My Future" and sent it to the Sunrise Optimist Club.  Currently, I am working at an essay about how the four voyages of Columbus changed our (European) perception of geography and altered world economics. I am also planning to write an International Business Plan for DECA.

Zohra and IEW Presentations

In my english class, i started by showing them were is tunisia in the map, some few thing about geography, language, then a little bit about our history & lifestyle some important towns goverment, my region.  They were pretty intresting and amazed with the beautiful pictures.  The second prsentations was on friday, at the school theater (parker school), up to 300 ppl.  When i was done i went on stage to thank them for their time.  Evry body goes "i wanna go to tunisia this sommer."

Koura Sangare - Paxton School

Koura wore a traditional dress and she brought a huge piece of mudcloth - a traditional method of dying fabric. She was able to answer all the students' and teachers' questions.  It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about other countries.  Two separate teachers leaving her classroom were heard to say, "This one is really good"
